Steam Labs is committed to safeguarding personal data. This privacy policy is addressed to parents, students and staff of Steam Labs, whether past or present. This privacy policy explains how we collect and use your personal data and the personal data of each student, staff or parents during the course of our provision of educational and related services.

What personal data do we process?
- Contact information including address, telephone number, email address, parent or guardian contact information
- Biographical and identification information including name, gender, date and place of birth
- Student information including communications with parents or guardians
- Special categories of personal data including health/medical information (e.g. allergies, disabilities, dietary requirements, records of accidents and illnesses), so that we can maintain a safe environment for all students
- Special categories of personal data including criminal convictions data of staff to ensure a safe working environment for our students
- Photographs and video footage for marketing. We will always seek consent from a parent or guardian before using any photo or videos for marketing purposes
How we use your Personal Data
Your personal data and that of any student you are responsible for will only be processed where we have a specific purpose, and a lawful basis, for doing so. These purposes and bases are listed below.
- To enrol students to process activities relating to the student’s enrolment at Steam Labs. This may include special categories of personal data as listed above
- To develop coach students in programs that we offer at Steam Labs
Where we collect Personal Data from
We may obtain personal data from you or any student you are responsible if you have made an enquiry by phone, email or social media
Transmission, storage and security of personal data
We maintain reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal data, and that of any student you are responsible for, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E.. 2562 (2019)
All information you, or any student you are responsible for, provide to us is stored on our own servers and accessed and used subject to our security policies and standards.
Storage of personal data
We will store personal data for as long as is necessary for the processing purposes for which they were collected. If personal data is used for two purposes we will retain it until the purpose with the latest period expires. We restrict access to personal data to those persons who need to use it.
Our retention periods are based on business needs and relevant local laws. Records that are no longer needed are securely deleted. We do not hold any physical data.
Rights relating to Personal Data
- Data subjects have a number of rights relating to how their personal data is used. Please be aware that certain exceptions apply to the exercise of these rights and so you will not be able to exercise them in all situations. If you wish to exercise any of these rights we will check your entitlement and respond within a reasonable timescale.
- Subject access may be provided to access any data held about you by Steam Labs. This information will generally be provided within one month of us confirming your identity and understanding the scope of your request.
- You can request to have inaccurate personal data we hold on you amended.
- You may request to have your personal data deleted. We will follow through with any request as long as there is not a business need to hold your personal data.
