Summer Robotics Camps

Our Summer Camps are designed around the official VEX Robotics competition themes, giving students the opportunity to experience what real competitive robotics is all about. Throughout the camp, students work in teams to design, build, and program robots while developing problem-solving, engineering, and teamwork skills.

Using official VEX Robotics systems and challenges inspired by current competition games, students learn how to approach engineering problems through iterative design, testing, and improvement. They will explore coding, mechanical design, strategy development, and robot driving skills in a fun and engaging environment.

VEX VIQRC Summer Program (Ages 8–12)

12-Day Camp | 2.5 Hours/Day | Monday–Thursday

Students dive into an accelerated competition-style experience where they will:

  • Build a fully functional robot for the current VIQRC game theme
  • Learn core engineering and design principles
  • Program with block-based coding (with optional Python extensions)
  • Practice teamwork, autonomous runs, and match-strategy basics

Schedule Structure:

  • Duration: 12 days
  • Weekly Format: 4 days/week (Mon–Thu)Weekly Format: 4 days/week (Mon–Thu)
  • Daily Time: 2.5 hours/day

VEX V5RC Summer Program (Ages 12–18)

12-Day Camp | 3 Hours/Day | Monday–Thursday

This program mirrors real competition team workflows, preparing students for advanced robotics challenges.

Students will:

  • Build a competition-ready V5 robot aligned with the season’s game
  • Learn mechanical design, drivetrains, intakes, manipulators, and structure fundamentals
  • Develop programming using VEXcode in C++
  • Train in teamwork, driving practice, strategy, and match analysis

Schedule Structure:

  • Duration: 12 days
  • Weekly Format: 4 days/week (Mon–Thu)
  • Daily Time: 3 hours/day

Our Winter Camps offer a focused, accelerated deep-dive that strengthens core skills in robot design, programming, and autonomous development.

Our Winter Intensive Robotics Camps offer a focused, accelerated learning experience designed to strengthen students’ skills in robot design, programming, and autonomous development. Through hands-on activities and guided projects, participants gain practical experience building and testing robots while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills. The camp provides an engaging environment where students can deepen their understanding of robotics concepts and explore more advanced challenges in STEM and engineering.

VEX IQ Winter Intensive

12 Hours Total | 4 Days | 3 Hours/Day

A fast-paced workshop ideal for students who want to strengthen technical fundamentals and autonomous capability.

Students will:

  • Explore advanced mechanisms, gear ratios, and structure optimization
  • Build and refine robots for reliability and performance
  • Strengthen programming fundamentals for autonomous routines
  • Use sensors, logic structures, and multi-step autonomous sequences

VEX V5 Winter Intensive

16 Hours Total | 4 Days | 4 Hours/Day

This advanced program is perfect for students preparing for competition season or leveling up their robotics engineering skills.

Students will:

  • Work with advanced C++ programming for both driver and autonomous modes
  • Build competition-grade V5 subsystems and mechanisms
  • Create and revise engineering portfolio content
  • Learn game analysis, match planning, and performance optimization
